Felicity Jones reveals real chaos behind holiday season

Felicity Jones is sharing some rare insights into the Christmas chaos at her home.

In a recent chat with E! News at the premiere of her new movie, “Oh. What. Fun.” December 2, in New York City, the Rogue One actress revealed how she and her husband are prepared for the holiday season.

“It’ll be exactly the same as it always is,” Jones said, who shares a 5-year-old son and a 3-year-old daughter with husband Charles Guard. “Every year, people get really stressed, and they’ll be worried about the food burning [or] not being hot enough.”

However, the 42-year-old actress admitted that the effort to achieve the ideal holidays is inevitable during the festive season, “That is the joy of the day, really,” Jones noted.

And this is also the main plot of Jones’ new Christmas movie.

“So much of the film is about the invisible labor of one person in the household,” she detailed, “How it’s often one person who will be up very late at night wrapping presents into the small hours of the morning. It’s a call for help for those people so that everyone works together, so no one’s putting themselves out there and doing all the hard work.”

It is pertinent to mention that Jones tied the knot with Guard in 2018.
