Drake issues cryptic warning as he announces ‘next chapter’

Drizzy says his next moves will leave spectators feeling ‘uneasy’

Drake wants fans to brace themselves as he sets the stage for his next move.

The Grammy-winning rapper took to Instagram on Monday, March 10 with an ominous post hinting at something big to come.

“I grew up non-confrontational and always treated this game as a sport where my pen won gold.” he wrote, cryptically adding that he’s been sitting on some unanswered texts. “I hope you see my honesty as clarity not charity that answers some questions especially about the unanswered texts you’ve been sending me.”

Drizzy continued, “I understand that this next chapter may leave you feeling uneasy.”

Many believe Drake is alluding to his ongoing feud with Kendrick Lamar, which hit new heights after Lamar’s explosive Grammys wins and his performance at the Super Bowl halftime show.

Lamar previously dismissed Drake’s challenge for another round, saying, “You know there’s only one opportunity to win a championship. No round twos.”

In his post, Drake’s post included a mix of selfies, concert footage, and an image from the 2017 film Phantom Thread. He also shared a picture of two Zofran pills, a medication used to prevent nausea from chemotherapy.

While his next move remains unclear, Drake recently dropped a surprise album, $ome $exy $ongs 4 U, with PartyNextDoor.
